Well here it is, the late 1970's going on 1985. You know so much of the music we hear today is preprogrammed electronic disco, we never get a chance to hear master bluesman practicing their craft anymore. By the year 2006 the music known today as the Blues will only exist in the classical records department of your local public library.

Dette sang Elwood Blues, spilt av min egen helt Dan Aykroyd i 80-tallets feteste film, The Blues Brothers. Min respekt for overnevnte person og film blir ikke mindre når man ser hvor rett han faktisk har – 25 år forut sin tid.

Syns det er trist at blues er så lite "brukt" no til dags, for det er ein fantastisk sjanger som du kan kjenne i heile kroppen! Rytmen er heilt super! Kanskje ikkje all blues er genial musikk, men feks frå Blues Brothers er det heilt fantastisk musikk! Reidar Larsen har og mykje bra!

Blues, funk og visse typer jazz er bra. Svart musikk er rett og slett groove.
